ABOUT
HANDCRAFTED GRAPHIC DESIGN
My name is Stephanie Beebe, and I am a graphic designer and elementary school teacher based in the Los Angeles area. I’ve spent my professional life exercising my creativity in a variety of forms, from choreographing figure skating routines to learning with classes of fifth grade students. After going back to school to pursue a life-long love for graphic design, I now enjoy designing as a hobby.
I completed my Graphic Design Certification at Otis College of Art and Design. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to continue learning at Otis past my certification. You can find me there in my spare time studying letterpress or further honing my design skills. I believe that stepping away from the digital world to build hand skills and crafts is essential to my success as a designer.
When I’m not teaching or designing, you’ll find me at one of our National Parks or watching Star Trek reruns.
CREATIVE.
I love doing what hasn’t been done before. My designs are unique but also clearly communicate a message. I can really take a theme and run with it, exploring all possible parts and extensions.
DETAILED.
Being meticulous helps me perfect my work, as I see no detail as too small. I am organized and hardworking, which helps me hold a deadline.
MAKER.
That’s me in one word. I am passionate not only about design, but about everything handmade. In my spare time, I’m constantly pursuing personal projects, from letterpress to knitting.
